Intercultural Economic relations – IPP

About this course

The aim of this course is to acquire fundamental concepts in Intercultural Economic Relations, by providing a set of fundamental tools of economic analysis. Moreover, this course focuses on the International trade and, at a more aggregate level, on the conceptualization and analysis of Regional Cultural and Economic integration as well as on international monetary and financial relations.

Expected learning outcomes

The subject taught should develop the following: General Skills: -To differentiate the main concepts, problems, objectives and the main stakeholders of intercultural economic relations; -To foster the critical thinking of the students regarding the addressed subjects and to apprehend its actual relevance. Specific Skills: -Characterizing the main stakeholders of intercultural economic relations; -Analysing specific elements of international relations and connections between economies; -Understanding International Trade; -Understand the different types of regional trading arrangements and the relevance of intercultural economic cooperation.
