About this course

The course is an introduction to the fundamentals of business, exploring the entrepreneurial processes and business models to seize entrepreneurial opportunities.

Expected learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course the student will be able to: – Be aware of company setting up procedures and types of business organisation; – Understand the entrepreneurial procedures and to analyse the entrepreneurial characteristics; – Conceive innovative business models and to build a business plan; – Understand the role of the various functional areas of a company(marketing, human resources, production and operations management);

Expository method and case study to present the main concepts, theories and structures of analysis. Development or practical activities related to a business model for an entrepreneurial idea.
